Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Baja + Mexico City

Dates set by you, TBD!!! (8 days, 7 nights) Sample Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Cabo, private driver to our resort/hotel, group lunch and welcome cocktail, rest of the day on your own to explore the resort or head into the small town, chill out day to forget the real world! We will have a group dinner to get acquainted!

Day 2 Breakfast in the hotel, then we have a whale watching tour, ending with a fabulous group dinner back at the resort.

Day 3 After breakfast we will leave Cabo and drive north, we will stop in a cute town, Todos Santos, home of The Hotel California. Here you can explore the town, have lunch, shop, and visit galleries. After 3 hours, we will head to La Paz for the next 3 nights. Check into our boutique hotel in La Paz, late dinner on the Malecon (beachfront).

Day 4 Free day to enjoy the laid back town of La Paz, with the popular Malecon and the shops, the museums and restaurants in town, possibly sign up to take a printmaking class! Dinner in town.

Day 5 Full day trip to swim with whale sharks, then visit a beautiful beach including fresh ceviche picnic lunch on a beach with a chance to sunbathe or swim in the beautifully clear waters. Dinner on your own- you get to choose from Malecon or city!

Day 6 After a fabulous sunrise walk on the malecon or sleeping-in, you’ll have breakfast and then depart for Mexico City about 9 am. We will stay in CDMX for 2 nights. After checking in we’ll have the afternoon to explore the Rufino Tamayo museum, then taco dinner (2 taqueria stops in Roma/Contessa).

Day 7 Spend the day hopping on and off the bus, visiting the different areas, museums and foods of the city. (This day will be catered to the groups’ interest).

Day 8 Early walk thru Chipotlepec park, then head to the airport!

This is a trip that covers a lot of activities and a lot of great places in Mexico! There will be free time and options to opt-out of all the activities. You can make it what you want it to be, within the confines of the itinerary (once it is set).

FYI- Over the past 2 years, direct flights to La Paz from DFW and most of the USA have been eliminated, hence the reason to add Cabo and Mexico City to the original trip to La Paz (only)! I think it makes a fabulous trip to be able to visit 3 places in a week!
